The Local Effective Altruism Network (LEAN) is an organisation focused on local EA groups. It contains the projects concerned with these under .impact, the home of independent EA projects. The goal of LEAN is to seed, support, and contribute to the growth of local effective altruism groups, chapters, and clubs all over the world. The current team lead is Tom Ash. It is the successor to project to THINK, the first organisation/network for local EA groups, which was founded back in 2012.
